Just Sharing….

I personally do not believe the competing with man I always believe in complimenting man.

My journey has some extra ordinary contribution and support from Men and Women and also some skepticism from Men and Women. Same people who supported me at a time had doubt on me, some people who absolutely supported me did doubt on my capacity at some time.

Sharing some good and no so good experiences.

Let us start with some surprises…

Rinky Diwan informed me about Pravasvani looking for a Radio Jockey.

When I approached Rajkumar from Pravasvani he immediately gave me a chance to accompany a current Radio Jockey to learn how exactly it works. This was 2009 December. And to my surprise first day the lady had a big argument on air with listeners and my Radio Jockey career and dream came to an end immediately. And finally get a call from Rajkumar on weekend to join Din Mani for training. Also he said “Can you fill for few days till I look for new Radio Jockey?” and I think he never filled in. And I continued and still here as RJ as I am writing this.

Din Mani, Raghu, Raj Kumar encouraged all the way. Asking Brad for CDs for recording, Running with Laptops, Forgetting Headphones were part of everyday’ s business. Just one show a week, but it made  a lady like me a  and people started knowing me only with my voice. My Boss Girish Gaitonde did not even wait for a second to approve my time out on Radio Shows on Wednesdays.

Started at 2.00 PM show once a week and then added Gujarati show Aavo Mari Sathe on one more day.

Then the trend started..

Nilesh gave me his constant feedback after every show.

I kept on asking for feedback from everyone I met.

And This still continues…

It is always not journey of praise and support. Faced lots of challenges.. It continues
